We are hiring a Retail Jewellery Store Manager!!!

Position Overview

We are  seeking an experienced full-time Retail Jewellery Store Manager to plan, organize, direct, oversee and evaluate the daily operations of our jewellery store. The manager will be responsible for managing and leading a team, implementing effective sales strategies, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in retail management at a similar level or supervisory level, a passion for fine jewellery, strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of market trends, and a passion for driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities 

Operations Management 

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations of the business, including online business, ensuring compliance with business policies and government regulations.

Marketing Management 

• Apply market research and understanding of trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors' operations on sales.

• Determine merchandise to be sold.

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to procure merchandise for resale ensuring cost-effectiveness.

• Implement price and credit policies.

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales, revenues and profitability.

Financial Management 

• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues to implement cost control.

Customer Service 

• Respond to customer requests, complaints, and resolve issues promptly ensuring exceptional standards of customer service.

• Evaluate and improve customer service.

Staffing and Human Resources 

• Determine and address staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, supervising, ongoing training and development, and retention of staff.

• Manage staff and assign duties.

• Supervise office and volunteer staff.

• Conduct performance reviews.

• Oversee payroll administration.

Qualifications

Education 

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.

Experience 

• 2 years to less than 3 years required
